Following last year's disappointing 5-7 season it's nice to see Husker fever back in Lincoln!
I've been in Section 130 on most game days since the early 1980s, but last season was different. There were new people sitting in the seats where seasoned fans had sat year after year. By mid-October the regular ticket holders were staying home sending their children and grandchildren to fill their usual spots in Memorial Stadium and endure the pain of 2007...
On Saturday, it's a new season and, God willing, the seasoned fans will be back in their seats. In fact, it's hard to find a ticket. (How about an end zone seat in row 94 for $138?) It's also hard to find a Nebraskan who's not at least a little excited to witness the head coaching debut of Bo Pelini against the Western Michigan Broncos. This could be the start of something big -- something a true Husker fan would never miss.

Trev's bottom line for the 2008 season...
